Join us for the very first promotional event for upcoming book “The Manicurist’s Daughter” ahead of its March 12, 2024 release! Multihyphenate creator Susan Lieu will share her journey of writing her family narrative of intergenerational trauma and healing starting on the theater stage and now in a memoir. Watch the stage recording of “140 LBS: How Beauty Killed My Mother”, followed by a talk between Susan and journalist and memoirist Putsata Reang. Join Susan and Putsata as they discuss Susan’s journey from her one-woman show to diving deeper into her story in the memoir. In-person attendees will have a chance to win free copies of The Manicurist’s Daughter!

This screening of "140 LBS" and book talk with Susan Lieu and moderator Putsata Reang will be followed by a reception with light refreshments. The reception is open for ticket-holders only.
